Bad Bad weekend, had the biggest play of the season smashed to bits with that fulham red card, and so Boa Morte (captain & key attacker) had to fill in at right back for 75mins, messed up the whole attitude of the game, as fulham were all out for a win at kickoff and the game started entertainingly end to end.

Anyways !...that was history

Watford - Sheff Utd over 2 @ 1.85 samvo 3units

This game is a big big battle of the premierships smaller teams. Having shared the Championship for the last 6 years, there is most definitely a rivalry between these two teams and most definitly heightened in summary, because of several reasons.

a. they were both promoted from the championship this season.
b. they are both now struggling at the foot of the table.
c. both suffered big defeats to each other last season
d. they both WANT and NEED to win this game and move further away or leapfrog the other.

For either manager, there simply is no point in trying to defend against one another and to say they are both evenly matched because they are newly promoted is a fair judgement, but performance wise, Sheff Utd most definitely have shown better signs that if either one of these two teams were to stay up, it would be them.
Both sides imo, have signed well this season, but probably Sheff Utd's signings stand out more, namely Rob Hulse from Leeds who is now their top scorer and steals most of the headlines, but Colin Kazim-Richards has been as much of a threat as Hulse has.

It was sad to see Watford lose (their main front man) Marlon King against Arsenal so many games ago, i had tipped myself to see Watford to do well in the Premiership and see how far King could take them, and Watford miss him bad.
This game promises to be fierce, with both managers 110% wanting to win this game just as they were when they were fighting for automatic promotion last year.
Aidy Boothroyd (watford manager) has promised to start this game with the upperhand and quoted as saying to "ram this game down their throats" and imo, there is no reason not to, as its a test against their promotion rivals as well as another return to Vicarage Road for former favourite Danny Webber, who has been dangerous out wide this season.

All in all, Watford have nothing to gain earning a draw, and everything to lose if they fall a further 3pts (already 1pt behind, so 4pts behind Sheff Utd if they lose) tomorrow night, and like I said above, they will try to get on top from the word go and play the frantic football they started this season with (but slowly less of due to confidence) and get these 3pts to leapfrog Sheff Utd come wednesday morning, but Sheff Utd's wing play has been nothing short of affective themselves and have consistently built their attacks down the wings for Gillespie and (probably on the left) Webber to supply Hulse balls with.

This game im almost sure will cover/push this over line before the 60' mark.

(fulham vs) Arsenal -0.75 @ 1.80 samvo 2.5 units

preview tomorrow

(in summary, fulham have massive defensive problems and Arsenal could have Rosicky back who imo, is a bigger factor to the Arsenal attack than Henry has been so far this season)

no one can disagree Henry's been shite this season, spoke to my colleague whos a season ticket holder there and he blames post WC depression blah blah blah...

bollocks !

its well documented that he doesnt get along with v.Persie and probably realises he will never win anything with Arsenal, however much potential this young squad has, he is nowhere near the first elevens average age (which is around 25 i think) so it may not be during his career there.

he shoulda signed for barcelona and he now knows it...
